Who we are

An experienced team of specialist consultants who like to be hands-on, solve problems and increase profits.

majaco (Majaco) is a UK operational improvement consultancy for food and grocery manufacturers, founded in 2019 and based in London. We find and deliver capacity, labour, yield and giveaway improvements, quantified in pounds, working on the shop floor with client teams.

The majaco team

Company background

Started in 2019 with one purpose: helping our clients to maximise their profits.

We love efficiency. We love to see complex systems working smoothly, intelligently and with maximum output. We’ve spent our careers delivering this for countless businesses in FMCG, Healthcare and e-Commerce. majaco came to be when we asked ourselves one simple question: how can we make our partnerships, projects, and our own work even more efficient?

We agreed that the answer was: a small, nimble team of top experts. A team that can slot seamlessly into a business and get hands-on to solve problems. A team that can focus entirely on delivering sustainable uplifts in profit, while being high-energy and low maintenance.

That was in 2019. Since then, we’ve brought our vision to life, and we’ve been delivering profit-improving projects for some of the top businesses in our sectors. We’re loving every minute of it. And it was all made possible by majaco.

How we work

Output driven. We judge ourselves by the results we deliver.

The fees we charge aren’t based on the number of days we work, or the hours we spend on site and in meetings - our fees are based on how much impact we have on your profitability. Being laser focused on results means you’ll always find us where there are problems to be solved and improvements to be made.

Underpinned by our values of clarity, partnership and creative curiosity, this is how an output driven ethos delivers results with staying power.

Our values

Three things we hold to

01

Clarity

We believe that no matter how complex a subject is, anyone who truly understands it should be able to explain it clearly, in straightforward language.

02

Creative curiosity

We love learning the ins-and-outs of your business - understanding the challenges you face and finding creative ways to solve them.

03

Partnership

We create long-term working relationships, based on a simple principle: our success should always be your success, and vice-versa.

“I’m a team player and it always impresses me how much enthusiasm our client teams bring when given new, fact-based perspectives on where we can work together to add value to their organisation. The improvements that deliver the most value and stick the best are the ones which client teams come up with and implement themselves. Being able to play the role of coach to help shape solutions and take people along the journey to success is extremely satisfying.”

Frank Wilkinson

Frank Wilkinson

Principal

In Frank’s own words

“There’s nothing that brings me more satisfaction than seeing someone do something today that they couldn’t do yesterday. I really enjoy getting right under the skin of a knotty issue that has been glazed over time and time again because ‘it’s just too hard’ or it’s ‘always been done that way’. But when you get to go on that journey with people and see their eyes light up as the graph trends up because of the ideas they had and the changes we’ve implemented; there’s simply nothing better.”

Proudest achievement. Delivering a £30m improvement in a grocery retailer’s supply chain by uncovering a pick accuracy issue that nobody knew was an issue, measuring the level of inaccuracy manually and ultimately building a sustainable measure and improvement cycle around it to reduce errors from c.4.5% to under 1% within a year.

Outside of work. If the weather is anywhere near decent, the braai (bbq) is out and fired up, other than that I just try to keep up with my two young kids!
